Suresh Raina is a left-handed specialist batsman. A ferocious left-handed medium-order hitter and a steady off-spin bowler, he has also been known to be one of the best defensive fielders in world cricket. He bats for Uttar Pradesh in all formats of domestic cricket. He recently bagged fifty-two runs at an average of 15.5 that including six centuries and three half-tons. Raina started playing competitively as early as the age of sixteen. He impressed with his batting skills and was selected for the national circuit in the later part of that year.
